Classroom Activity: (Dis)Like

AI systems have already changed our everyday lives and will continue to do so. For example, AI-supported learning apps are used in the same way as image processing and image recognition programs with AI functions or route planners that use AI algorithms. In addition, language models such as ChatGPT support us in writing texts. At the same time, we find a lot of fake news or fake profiles on social media platforms that are difficult to recognize as such.

In this activity, students are asked to think about different scenarios for the use of AI systems. Which do they like and which don’t? In a second step, they should consider whether they would make the same decision in 15 years and how they would assess the situation from a different perspective.
